Shooting stage with a rangefinder

Stage photography is one of my favorite subject. I've been using DSLRs for it, and now that I started using rangefinders I'm curious if I can use it effectively for this purpose. This year's Mosaic music festival is a great even to give this a shot. Manual focusing on a rangefinder is definitely a challenge for a stage shoot but its sure is a lot of fun and the result is not that far behind of a DSLR. Obviously high ISO is not a forte of digital M and the new generation of DSLR such as Nikon D700 and Canon 5D Mk II have ridiculously great high ISO performance, but my M8 could still produce good stage images. These are images from great performers, Soulmate from India, Blue on Blue from Thailand and Bonita & the hus Band from my hometown, Jakarta, Indonesia.
