My very first post in 2011. Why not pick a cool date to go with it. As usual with year end, work gets in the way of my photography. Another brutal week in the office which should be cautionary tale: don't let your kids grow up to be accountants =P. The only shots I manage to take so far this January is this, taken at a barbeque at 5pm on a Sunday, then go home to prepare for a call from my boss at 9pm. What a way to spend a weekend. Glad it's coming to an end.

Fire Walkers
Theemidi ritual is a fire walking festival at Sri Mariamman Hindu temple in Singapore. The main ritual is walking over a four meter pit of burning coal prepared at the temple. Devotees of come from Singapore, India and Malaysia to take part in this annual festival.
