Radio City....

Its been a brutal couple of weeks at work.I've been carrying my trusty D70 in my backpack for days without having the time to use it. Today I got lucky and got out of work by 6PM (some luck :P )....it was raining a bit but what the hell..here goes...Radio City Music Hall, a couple of blocks from the office.

Bushkill Falls, PA

Another series from my trip along Pennsylvania's Route 6. We found the falls accidently while at a rest stop. They claim this as the "Niagara of Pennsylvania". Having lived just a half hour from Niagara Falls, NY, this is certainly pale in comparison. But it was still a fun photo trip.

Fall in Pennsylvania

It rained every single day last week in New York. I had serious doubt that the Saturday photo trip to Pennsylvania would be possible at all. But after driving 2 hours west into Northern PA, it turned out to be a great day after all.

6th year......

This fall marks my 6th year away from my home country. I started as a graduate student in Buffalo, NY in the fall of '99 (from tropical islands of Indonesia to snow central of Western New York, quite a change eh? :) and I end up in the great city that I now call home, NYC. Here's a homage to my home away from home.

BW

I was browsing through some shots I took during a workshop earlier in the year. I wasn't happy with my original shot, so I played around with a new BW conversion method I found on the web. Here's a few of the result.

2005 US Open

Its September again, and in NY, its tennis time. Its a great event for sport photography enthusiast since you can really get close to the game without having to buy expensive telephoto lenses. Provided you know where to go of course. Your best bet would be in the preliminary rounds that are held in the sidecourts. I was able to get pretty close with my 80-200mm f2.8.
