St Patrick Day Parade along 5th Avenue

I've been in NY for 4 years now, everytime St Patrick Day comes around I always had something going on. This year is no different. Deadlines to meet, financial statements to complete and auditors breathing down our necks. Not gonna let the parade go without shooting it this time though. The fact that the parade ran right outside the office did help. :)..this was the result of a quick 10 minutes picture snapping before going back crunching numbers....

If you ever had the fortune to have 20 million bucks in your possesion, what would you do with it? How about lining Central Park with 5 miles of "gates" made with metal frames and orange cloth?

A brief Washington D.C.....

I've been down to DC a few times, mostly in summer times. Its always jam packed with tourist by the busloads. So when I came in December, it was a refreshing change. No lines what soever. But that joy was soon replaced by annoyance, with all the security frenzy. Concrete barriers all over the place, cops with machine guns every where you look. Its still a great place to visit though...
